At Simple Man Handyman, we believe in clear, straightforward pricing. We price by the job, not by the hour so you know what the expect - with no hidden fees. We focus on small-to-mid-sized home upgrades that deliver quality and value without the disruption of a full remodel. Our estimate and pricing standards are as follows:
Virtual Estimates - Free
Virtual estimates can be provided for some projects based on your description, along with helpful pictures/​​videos. Rough measurements, project discussion, and estimated price included. This option is ideal for smaller and more straightforward projects.
In-Person Basic Estimates - Free
This includes a basic walkthrough, quick measurements, and a rough project plan with an estimated price included. This option is ideal for mid-sized projects that require in-person inspection but don't require a high degree of design/material prep in order to provide an estimate.
(Free estimates are consultative only - no paid work during these visits)
*Note: A $50-$100 fee may apply for projects requiring extra planning, detailed measurements, or material research. This fee is credited toward your project if you hire us and will be discussed before doing an estimate.
Minimum Service Charge - $195
We prioritize small-to-mid sized home upgrades, with projects starting at $195 to ensure that each project receives proper time and craftsmanship. This covers setup, travel, and the focused attention that quality work requires - even for smaller tasks. If you have a few smaller jobs (under 1-2 hours each), it often makes sense to bundle them into one visit to get the most value.
Typical Project Ranges
With such a wide range of services, pricing for each project or repair varies significantly based on the job. We work hard to provide up-front and honest pricing for all of our customers. We have set pricing for many smaller jobs and also have reliable methods for pricing out larger jobs. All jobs are priced by the job, rather than by the hour.

Average project size: $500-$3,000 - Most of our work falls in this range, including built-ins, trim updates, and railings.

Overall project range: $195-$7,500 - Practically all of our projects fall in this range. We focus on mid-sized home upgrades that improve your space without the disruption or cost of a full remodel. We don't take on large remodels or very small, one-off handyman tasks.
